Jack & Narelle Evans are two musicians from NSW. Jack Evans has been a celebrated and acclaimed guitarist in the Sydney Blues/funk scene for the last twenty years and together with the powerful vocals and versatility of Narelle they formed a compelling duo "the Lovebirds"
Performing hits from Amy Winehouse to Jimmy Hendrix, the Lovebirds bring their wide range of musical knowledge & experience to the table.
Jack Evans is a Sydney based blues/funk guitarist who released his independent instrumental CD "SPY SONG" in 2007 to critical acclaim. The title track itself was short listed in the top 5 for "Best Instrumental" at the 2007 Australian Songwriters Association Awards (ASA). Jack has since been signed to "Perfect Pitch" publishing
Jack has also worked and recorded with the legendary Steve Prestwich (Cold Chisel), Rebecca Johnson Band, Jenny Marie Lang Band, 3 Piece Suite, Clive Suares, Bridie King Band, the Jive Bombers and Rachael Zella and the Blackbirds. He formed his own band "Jack Evans & the Spyders" after the release of "SPY SONG" playing at festivals including The Darling Harbour Jazz Festival and Patonga Blues across the bay.
Narelle Evans trained in Tasmania and in only a short time after moving to Sydney has worked with, recorded and fronted such Sydney icons as Bridie King and the Harmony Queens, Hip Sister, Rachael Zella & the Blackbirds, Jenny Marie Lang, Clive Suares and Jack Evans & the Spyders. She currently fronts Sydney's iconic rock'n'roll, swing and dance band The Jive Bombers.
