Add depth and dimension to your function with beautiful music from a string ensemble and fill the silences with soft sweet melodies.

The Amadeus String Ensemble provides classical background music for receptions and ceremonial occasions. From its start at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 1992, the Ensemble has performed for the Prime Minister, Members of parliament, Heads of Corporations and even Rock Stars.

Members of the Amadeus String Ensemble also work with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. All the players have completed degrees at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and studied extensively overseas. The Ensemble performs baroque and classical music at weddings, parties, receptions, business functions and occasionally at funerals.

Additional Charges

We are able to travel out of Sydney. Travel charges are as follows:-
i) $50/hour/player for travel time
ii) $20/100km/player for petrol costs
iii) Sydney metropolitan engagements are exempt from travel costs.

Notes

We do not charge GST.
For outdoor ceremonies or receptions we require adequate shading and protection from inclement weather for our instruments.
