I created Music For My Wedding to give musicians a reliable, stress free and easy way to find quality wedding gigs without having to pay to quote or being ripped off with exorbitant commissions.

Music For My Wedding is currently in its founding member phase. Couple requests are building. If you qualify, you'll be given 2 months free which means there's nothing to pay while things get started - and if requests come through during that time, you're welcome and encouraged to quote on them.

The cost to use the credits depends on two things – the value of the gig and how many musicians are quoting on it. The higher the budget and the more interest it attracts, the more you pay just for the opportunity to quote. It’s called dynamic pricing.
Easy Weddings on the other hand charge you an annual listing fee to appear in their directory. The more you pay, the higher up the page you’re listed and from what I’ve personally been told – it’s a locked-in 12 month commitment with no way to cancel.

No. Your Founding Member rate is locked in for the life of your membership as long as you remain a paying member.
Unfortunately no. If you cancel and rejoin later, you’ll pay whatever the current rate is at that time. Your founding member pricing is only protected while you maintain continuous membership. Once you cancel, you lose the founding member rate forever.
Once a couple accepts your offer and pays us the booking fee, you’ll receive their contact details so you discuss your deposit, payment terms and cancellation policy with them.
Absolutely. You handle your own payment terms direct with the couple. Make sure you include payment terms, deposit requirements and any cancellation policies in your quotes.
Yes, but only to help you submit a quote or when the couple have shown interest in your quote (e.g. asked for clarification). Please remember that providing direct contact details is against our Terms of Use and affects couples’ money-back guarantee eligibility.
We’re not going to make false promises about instant riches. As a relaunched platform, we’re building our couple base alongside our musician network, so initial volume depends on your location and profile quality.
